My maid will be finished her contract very soon, about 4 months 's time. Because I don't have time to hire new maid and then train again, I am going to renew her contract though her performance is so so. I thinks she is oK to stay but she does not want to have ' Saturday off ' instead of ' Sunday'.
I am going to ask her if she wants to renew, if she say yet, I wonder how can we ensure she is not looking for another job in between. I understand the immigration does not accept visa newal until 6 weeks between the contract expire, but if I wait until then, what if she then change her mind in the last minutes, then I will not have enough time to find another maid.
Give her incentives to stay, like increase her salary for a little more and ask her to make improvements! If she likes staying with you then there is no reason for going for another job, they are not stupid, they still need to pay for a few months agency fees if they want to find another job!
